Position Description

This is a hands‑on, field‑forward construction management role supporting fiber builds across residential, MDU, and light commercial environments. You’ll coordinate equipment, track progress, verify quality, and keep projects moving. Perfect for recent grads or early‑career professionals who want to grow into full construction leadership within a rapidly scaling ISP.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and coordinating fiber construction projects (aerial, underground, and in‑building)
• Convert sales agreement into actionable plans
• Perform site walks, document conditions, and  team readiness
• Track daily progress, update project schedules, ad escalate blockers.
• Ensure work meets Haywire standards for safety, quality, and spec compliance
• Capture photos, redlines, and as‑built details for project closeout
• Support material management: ordering, staging, and inventory checks

Qualifications

• Degree in Construcion Management (or related)
• Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple active job site
• Ability to read basic construction drawings, site plans, and utility locates
• Willingness to work in the field regularly (boots‑on‑ground role)
• Clear communication and a proactive, problem‑solving mindset
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Work Location

This is an onsite role in Indianapolis, Indiana. Periodic travel to jobsite locations is required. Haywire does provide a travel allowance.
